Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2014 is opened!

My congratulations to all beer fans and geeks in VANcity – starting from yesterday Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2014 is officially opened!

Just some photos from the event for understanding how it passed, because it’s very hard to explain by words all things that were happened there 😉

Main Street Brewing Company bar is officially opened in Vancouver, BC

Yesterday I was invited by Joe Wiebe to the opening of Main Street Brewing Company bar on 261 East 7th Avenue in Vancouver, BC.

So, guys, my congratulations to you – we have one more beer place in Vancouver with good choice of craft beer 🙂

The bar is open daily 11AM – 11PM and I hope we will see soon big logo of Main Street Brewing Company on this heritage building:

When I came there was already a lot of people.

So I decided to join them and took a beer set of cask ales in the appropriate place 🙂

Also there were some snacks.

I took my beer, seated and realized that there was a queue from the street to take a beer 🙂

A couple words of beer. I’ve tasted almost all available (except Pilsner):

• Sessional IPA
• Brown Ale
• American Stout
• Best Bitter
• Dry Irish Stout
• Belgian IPA

And I chose Dry Irish Stout for continue evening, because in humble opinion this stout with an perfect aroma and taste of coffee was the best one from the list 🙂
